Please monitor your pet while feeding any treat. Excite Bites are designed as a treat, not as a complete and balanced diet.

If this is your first time feeding your dog liver take it slowly. Do not feed liver in large quantities, it's very nutrient-dense and can cause an upset stomach if fed in large portions.

To maintain freshness close packaging tightly and store in a cool dry place.

Because we don't use preservatives, these treats won't last as long as store bought treats.

To increase their lifespan, you can freeze them.

Why Beef Liver?

Vitamin A

a powerful antioxidant. It supports digestion and reproductive organs

Vitamin D

an important nutrient for immune function. It helps protect against cancers, autoimmune and infectious diseases. It supports muscle and bone strength too

Folic Acid, B Vitamins

support mental and nerve health. They help avoid fatigue and prevent anemia

Iron

transports oxygen to the blood cells. This increases your dog's endurance and strength. Lack of iron depletes antibodies and T-cells in the immune system

Other Minerals (like Copper & Zinc)

support bone and joint health, skin, coat, and immunity

Why Pumpkin?

Vitamin A

a powerful antioxidant. It supports digestion and reproductive organs

Vitamin C

enhances immune function and aids in production of anti-stress hormones. It's an antioxidant required for proper tissue growth and repair, and adrenal gland function

Vitamin E

an antioxidant which helps prevent cancer, heart disease, and cell damage. Reduces blood pressure and promotes healthy skin and fur

Low Calorie

pumpkin is a low calorie, low fat food that's a great option for dogs going through weight management

Regulates

pumpkin can helps dogs with diarrhea as well as dogs struggling with constipation and is a great option for dogs who easily get upset tummies

It all depends on the dog's preference. My mom has a Shih Tzu who eats these without a problem. But I know there are other small dogs who do not because they prefer smaller sizes. You know your dog best but overall, yes, small dogs can eat these treats.

That's okay. The only reason a dog would swallow these treats whole is if the dog is large enough to do so. Meaning the treat isn't going to be a choking hazard. Your dog is still getting the nutrients from the treat and they still understand that they recieved the reward.

These are meant to be fed as treats not a meal, so it's not recommended to feed the whole bag in one day.

If your dog is new to eating organ meat then you will want to serve in limited amounts initially in order to avoid digestive upset.

Beef liver is high in Vitamin A. Too much of this vitamin can lead to Vitamin A toxicity.

But this doesn't mean to be afraid to feed it. Dogs on raw diets need 5% of their diet to be liver so it's a very important organ to feed.

Always monitor your dog when giving them new food.
